Number’s Up for Filipina Card Scam

Police in Siem Reap City arrested two women from the Philippines on Monday for allegedly cheating an American tourist out of nearly $500 in a game of blackjack, police confirmed yesterday.

The suspects, 51-year-old Vichitchat Christina and Eguez Jeremy Eonee, 40, were arrested by police in Siem Reap City for cheating Warren Jaquin Adita, a 30-year-old American, out of $480 in a game of blackjack.

Files concerning the case were sent to the provincial court yesterday.

According to the National Police, Mr. Adita went to Siem Reap City police on Monday and reported that two Filipinas had convinced him to play blackjack at their rented house.

At the police station, the two suspects confessed that they had convinced Mr. Adita to come to play blackjack with them at their house. In the game, they coordinated between themselves to cheat and took $480 from the American.

These poor wimmin were severely beaten with ugly sticks.

We can reasonably assume that the scammed punter was NOT under the impression that an afternoon of erotic dalliance was on the cards.

They look so trustworthy, why wouldn't you play cards with them. The victims should be thrown in the same cell for stupidity.
