Woman drowning at the beach?

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

The actual story was that she cut her wrists before running into the water. Which may explain why my mate thought she was a barang girl when he saw the body. He told me she had black hair, but she was so pale it was creepy. Either which way, a sad story.

Bosco, how about some of the negativity that we all agreed should be left on the other forum encompasses Sihanoukville bashing? Considering a lot of the posters on this forum live here and actually KNOW that you have no idea what you are talking about when you say its a shithole. Also might be a good idea not to get into the "all expats who live in S/ville are sexpats, pedo's, deathpats, druggies, old fat cunts etc." way of thinking, it just makes people who say that look like complete fools who obviously know nothing about the contemporary residents of the town.
Fair call mate?

Last time I went to Sihanoukville I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Would move there in a flash if i could get work there.

Phnom Penh is also not without its shithole areas and characters.
Jesus loves you...Mexico is great, right? ;)

I like Sihanoukville, and hope to see it not get bashed except for legitimate reasons.

Agreed! I was going to move there this year but a bout of damn back trouble reminded me that I need to stay in PP. Bummer that.
