I handed my passport and $290 in to my local travel agent that I have used for the last 10 plus years. Never ever had a problem with them. This time I pointed out that I wanted a ER ,,retirement visa. They know I am retired. Eight days later it comes back with a EB on it. They said , it's ok , you can work or be retired on the EB visa ????????

Will it be a problem ? Dont think so cause in the 13 plus years I have been here never,, not even once , has some-one asked me for my passport.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

(Based on direct advice from Immigration) The EB absolutely does not cover retirement. Good news though, it's probably going to not impact you in any way. Let's hope the agents and even Immigration have got it together for next year.

UNTIL THEY start back fining people on EB extensions and no WP's
Wouldn't put it past them to make some easy $$$
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

You'd hope they could find Duncan's date of birth on his passport, and do the math. But yeah, good point.

Related, I wonder how many people are still burning after catching up their WP backpayments earlier this year, only to hear of a one-month amnesty for people buying their first WPs.
