What changed Europe?
Seeing as there is an election coming up, and there is some disbelief as to any real change being possible under either party by many Cambodians, I thought it may be interesting to give Cambodians our thoughts on what enabled Britain etc to change from something rather like Cambodia today to something that is seen by many as a more just society.
Any thoughts or ideas as to why/ how the change happened/ was even possible, are appreciated.

The issue with Cambodia is the endemic corruption. It's probably eating up over half the economy. Unless there's someone who's going to deal with it, reduce it to just 5 or 10%, the place will never amount to anything. I don't know how you fix the idea that tomorrow doesn't exit. Convert them all to Protestants.

Well they all take the vote and say they will change this and that but in the end, you are like wasting a vote there. There is quite less good leader left and the rest Is all dirty politician.

That has been the case since time immemorial. You want to love without politicians? And how about =all these people constantly moaning about politicians trying to get elected themselves? Of course that will never happen....
