Hope you give us all a update after you have been a week or so , as it would be interesting to see the difference between the exchange rates you are charged. I have always found there is about two cents difference between what the banks give, plus fees, and what I can get at the money exchange here.

same in India, the rates vary from american express, western union, thomas cook plus all the foreign exchange places, and in Goa they have boards outside shops giving the daily rate, usually its only a rupee or less difference. this is for cash.
I will post here before i fly with the amount of dollars i can get for a £1000 cash in London and see what i can get in KOW for the same
