The country for criminals
Re: The country for criminals
thx TUV, imagine the horrible change from1969 to 1997 . Must be dreadful what it is today. As PR says, TEXAS. Unfortunately this trend keeps on going across the board. Europe, once reasonably lenient in that regard can't wait to become more like America, while totally ignoring a few proven good working things, that could be copied into the system with the standard delay of 10-15 years normally.

Re: The country for criminals
i just googled North sea camp, it is now an adult prison not a young offenders place. It gives details of when it was a borstal in the past but no mention of it being a detention center? They were closed down due to excessive violence by the screws and the high rate of re offending, so much for the short sharp shock!
