Introduce Yourself

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Hey mate.

Those to things that you speak off, not drinkin and staying in shape. Are the two biggest demons for 99.9999 % od travelers and expats on KoW.
Again, you are hanging out in the wrong places. A lot of my buddies are runners and we train for Ultras. Fit enough for you?

I am sure not many fit people there, that is why the only reason I go to Soksan is for the excellent "L'Annexe" and #136 for the Sun & Moon. Never go to Victory Hill.

What's up group? :D

I'm currently in Seattle but, probably coming to your lovely kingdom in a year or so. I lived for a few years in Taipei and about a year in mainland China when I was younger, more than a couple years ago. *cough*. I've been wanting to get back to the region for quite a while. I appreciate the info you all are sharing here. BTW: Even though I'm trying to work out other options, I'll probably need to teach some English to get the ball rolling there so, try not to flame me too hard. lol. I taught in Taiwan and China the whole time I lived there and it wasn't bad. I was actually one of the few expats who I knew that didn't mind it as a job, most of the time anyway.

Any general info or suggestions you might have for a newbie to the region (I know, don't come there. lol) fire away.

Have a good one, and thanks for having me here!

Hey, the mention of running caught my attention. :D I'm a trail runner here in Seattle and am tentatively planning a move there. Is there much in the way of trail running (once I adapt to the heat and humidity)?
Thanks!
*edit* Nice. Just watched a vid on the Angkor Ultra. The trails look pretty nice there. Looked like a well organized and well attended event to boot!
