It's been going on for a year or more,,,,, now how long before is slows down or stops. Maybe six more months when a few big construction jobs stops there will be only a few new startups.

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

I think it's been going on quite a bit longer than that, but seems to be at a crazy level now, every street has major construction going on.

So far Chinese, Singaporeans, Taiwanes etc. other foreigners from Asia have been buying the condos in last few years (money laundering perhaps). These projects have been really high priced and there will be lot of "luxury" condos empty soon. And probably most of them stay empty for long time. Lately launched high end condos are in trouble. For example The Sino Plaza project just stopped sales and refunded money to those who already had bought. This is because the foreigners don't buy anymore (law changes in their home country) and these projects are too expensive for locals. However the reasonable priced condos like the L-Recidence's projects and UK/US condos are selling really really well. US-condo for example sold over 60% of the units just on opening weekend last week. And it's the mid-income locals who are buying these condos. The reasonable priced projects have bright future.

Forget sales figures from real estate spruikers. A sale means a $1000 deposit as I understand it. It will be a disaster, those empty buildings littered Bangkok for many years after 1998. And with no strata laws no one will pay for maintenance, cleaning, community power and security.
A ridiculous bubble.
