Tantrei guest-house and rooftop bar/restaurant for sale in the centre of Kampot Town.

Very close to the riverside and ideally located between old and new markets.

This modern property has five private rooms, a three-bed dormitory, professional kitchen and a stylish rooftop bar with stunning all-round views taking in Bokor Mountain, Praek Tuek Chhu river and the town.

The rooms have comfortable king-sized beds, high ceilings, and are recently decorated with en-suite bathrooms and hot showers throughout. AC is fitted in three of the rooms and in the dormitory.

The unique rooftop bar is the largest in town with a beautiful exposed-brick style, finely treated pallet furniture and stage. With an airy, open aspect, it is a versatile space that would suit a quality restaurant/cocktail bar.

Tantrei also benefits from great reviews on Booking.com, Trip Advisor and Facebook.

I like the idea of having a bar that has bare brick walls.

If you get bored of listening to the shit that someone is poking in your ear, you can just start counting the bricks to keep your mind occupied.

Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

For anyone considering purchasing this business, this is what the owner posted as the reason for selling...
It's a combination of factors, but most recently noise issues for one of our neighbours. We now have a police-issued 10pm cut-off for loud(ish) music which makes this place nonviable as a music bar. The space would make a perfect restaurant/cocktail/sunset bar though - just not for us ;)

But the police would have been impressed with the pallet furniture, surely. Pallets are great, as pallets. Invented by the US in WW2 I believe and together with forklifts transformed logistics. Pacific tribes people were astonished by fork lifts. Robotics even then taking their booty.
