To me, 237 years of being officially separated from America is something to be happy about isn't it?

I like the way they sneaked into WW2 AFTER the RAF had screwed over the Luftwaffe, that was neat.

Sneaked into WWII? You are forgetting Lend lease. When the war started England (and after Dunkirk) had a shortage of rifles, ship, etc. America, even though neutral provided rifles, 4-stack destroyers, ammo, etc.(The English government had taken away the citizens guns and melted them down, real smart.) (One Jap Admiral stated that if they invaded the US there would be a sharpshooter behind every tree. Kind of like Lexington and Concord.)

American merchant seaman were being torpedoed for violating the German's "war zone." Prior to America officially entering WWII the US Navy provided escorts for Brit convoys in the North Atlantic. 115 US sailors died in the escort destroyer Rubin James when the Capt.intentionally put it between a German sub and a Brit ammo ship before the US officially enter the war. My father on Dec 7th 1941 was training in Canada to fly Spitfires in England thus protecting Brit citizens. America was a world away from England and could have just let Germany starve the Brits out, but took action in men and ships (rifles, ammo, oil, etc.)

The main reason Germany lost the Battle of Britain is that they stopped bombing the airfields and radar installations.
