Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Closing After 146 Years

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Closing After 146 Years

Post by phuketrichard »

As a kid I loved when the circus came to town ( Washington dc) my neighbor owned a large lot and it was on the rr tracks in DC and it was the yard where the cirrus train arrived and they would stop there so we would always go down and spend hours watching and wandering around, the high point was the parade thru town to the 3 big tops.

End of an era and will be sadly missed, Tv and the internet will never replicate the joy of seeing the circus :beer3:

I just had lunch with a friend that was raised on the west coast seems he NEVER saw the circus, didn't know they did not travel to Ca. or did he just miss them.

Prolly not. But would be in keeping with the maturity level of our soon to be twitterer in chief.
