Be extra careful

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

The only people I ever hear complaining about stuff
like this are drug dealers when they are caught.
People do get set up in PP. The real drug dealers (etc) will throw an innocent or relatively innocent person at the police in place of themselves when the heat is on. A form of profit sharing may or may not play a role at times.

Right, so someone quietly having a beer in a Pub (not Pontoon or GSM) will suddenly find themselves in jail on drug charges?

Bullshit.
they might turn a competitor over to save themselves but they wont throw an innocent person and the police seldom ( as in the case of underage girls in PI- and there its for $$) set someone up.
those caught do it all the time,
its called "lets make a deal"
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

It's very good of you to join up here just to warn us about this OP. It appears that it is especially dangerous if you live in PP.
Could you give us some examples where innocent westerners have been imprisoned because set up by drug dealers ? We need to know about this. :dm:
The cases involving fake tapes, video clips or altered CCTV film must be really interesting. 8-)

Actually, judging by the fact that that young Finish lady is walking around scot free, because there were no cunts on her, drugstable, I think you actually have to be caught inflagrante. Despite what our worst beliefs are about the po-po, at least here in Shv, they need a decent amount of physical evidence to take you to court.

absolutely.

I'm sure there is no way you can be arrested for saying, "this one time, at band camp, I smoked a hooter..."
(even in places like SEA)
