Bodyguards

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

They don't necessarily have to be armed. Barang, Khmer, etc. A couple of fit, intimidating guys, with a few skills, or maybe unassuming guys with the spirit of Bruce Lee. Potential opponents would be Nigerian and Khmer thugs.
Any ballpark figure of cost?--24 hr and or on call.

All info appreciated.

PM is cool too.
If you actually NEED bodyguards in Phnom Penh- 1- You better make sure they are Cambodians of the Khmer sort. 2- They should be armed. I don't understand because you are just presenting a scenario that seems to me would bring unwanted attention to you and if shit went down, what are your unarmed bodyguards going to do when an actually gun is drawn by some RCAF fucker or something of the likes?

Are you actually in Cambodia? I mean, do you look around and see how shit works here? Barrang bodyguard lol..... hahaahahahahhhah. I just.... holy fuck.. haha.. wow.
All the King's bodyguards are foreigners, you retard.
Yes, N.B., it is me who is coming off as retarded. I won't insult you back though.
I'll give ya 500 Riel for it...

I didn't insult you; I quoted facts: THE KING has barang bodyguards and you are retarded.

Though his wording is poor, I think it's pretty clear the OP just wants hired goons, not actual professional bodyguards (as people seem to have assumed both here and on K440)...

I would just hire the Nigerians.

By the sound of it, I suggest a few of your bodyguards need to be armed, for sure, if you're worried about other Nigerians or Khmer thugs.

I think there are people on here, in that profession and with 'Real Time' current expertise, who could advise you on this matter.

I know there are regulars on here, who choose PP to R n R, so I am thinking they know a situation and how best to handle it but best that chat goes on, initially by PM but realistically by other conduits. But that is non of my business or concern.

I knew one of the former co-prosecutors on the ECCC a few years back - he had a couple of Russian bodyguards who were massive, and looked were built like Dolph Lundgren......... he was messed with by nobody! Perhaps there may be some of these goons around Kompong Som??
