Frangipani Pizzaria Bar and Grill (Rooftop bar)

Post by FreeSocrates! »

Name: Frangipani Pizzaria Bar and Grill l (Rooftop bar)
Address: Sisowath, Quay | #277C, Phnom Penh
Telephone: 23 220 528

I had the Hawaiian Pizza, my friend had the pasta.

When the waitress came she said "It's happy hour, Angkor draft is $1", so I used my standard one liner, "I will take one hundred of those please!"

The service was great, the pizza was average, the seafood(?) pasta was pretty damn good judging from the couple of bites I had of it. It's about $7 or $8 for a plate of food there (thought it would be more expensive, maybe in high season it is).

Anyways, thought I'd try it as I'd been there for late night dates before. I thought it would be overpriced but it was quite reasonable.

The view is what you go for of course, pretty decent for Phnom Penh, but I've had better views, like Sky Bar(?) I think. All in all, I'd go back there.
The cedar roasted asparagus has good chew. I don't know how to enjoy it, so I'll Instagram it instead.

Frangipani has a better view than Skybar--more open.

Nice pool up top too---if you're not staying there it's 7 bucks each. Or you could just lie.

Nice review!

I've been to the one near the Russian Market, and they claimed I could swim for free.. I have yet to see if it's true.

I might be confusing Skybar with some place else, hence the (?) I put at the end of it. Is there more than one Skybar?

Maybe we need a new thread, best views of Phnom Penh from up high?

Last month, I visited one of the best rooftop bar nyc with my friends to attend a birthday party. We had soft drinks and pizza at discounted price. We even got opportunity to sing in an ongoing concert there.
