Moto-driving Young Man Attack@Tea Money Stop

Post by nightmare.believer »

A young Cambodian man in a nicely laundered white long sleeve button down shirt and black slacks was physically assaulted upon approaching a busy boulevard in the capitol early Sunday afternoon.
While travelling at an appropriate speed, on the appropriate side of the street, and wearing a helmet compliant with local traffic regulations, a tea money traffic stop was attempted by two of the boys in blue.
A finely laundered shirt must be the best indication that an on-the-spot traffic shakedown would result in an early afternoon payday that would meet their quota of, you know…tea money.
The first gentleman, sworn to protect and serve, strode into the middle of the street to flag down the innocent scooter driver who swerved around the human blockade. An ineffectually left forearm was thrown under the helmet of the nattily-dressed local.
What came next completely surprised this reporter. The second boy in blue threw a right haymaker that knocked off the scooter driver’s right rear view mirror, glass and chrome flying through the air as the well-dressed fly flew through the (oh so very) thin blue line of justice.
Smiles and chuckles were had by all, and by all I mean the two men who had just assaulted someone for nothing.
The most noteworthy part of the event was how the hell this guy punched through glass and steel with flesh and bone.

Good. When a cop tells you to stop, stop.

Good. When a cop tells you to stop, stop.
But the OP clearly states the moto driver was innocent. AND we know what he was wearing at the time of the stop. These two facts should be enough to convince any sane person of wrongdoing by the evil police.

A corner-cop smiled at me the other day, and even did the secret bloke chin flip. I feel violated, is there a number I can ring?

The OP has no idea why the cops were trying to stop these guys. Obey the law. If the police say stop, stop, or suffer the consequences.

Obviously I've described a Khmer university student.
You've been in Cambodia 10+ years: are you stupid, demented, or just plain lost the point (cause it happens).
