New Section Suggestions?
Re: New Section Suggestions?
If it has not already been said, how about a cooking section. Lots of options to eat out but a growing number of members are well into cooking. A guide to the markets, what to buy, what to avoid. Recipes from Cambodia and home countries, cooking techniques, maybe even the odd invite to have cook offs, lol

Good idea!
We should decide on rules now for takeaway chili-dogs and extra egg discussions.

Maybe you could have a heavily moderated section where any one liners or off topic posts get deleted as a matter of course.
You could also have threads dedicated to off topic chatter where people can ramble on about anything.

Re: New Section Suggestions?
we already have this... Getting Your Fill is a full on food section, including recipes/etc. If we get a lot of them, i'll make a subforum for it.EdinWigan wrote:If it has not already been said, how about a cooking section. Yeah baby!
Also, a 'where to buy' section. There are some good businesses out there that deserve a plug, just as there are some short changing/overcharging arseholes who need exposing.

You should have an "essential everydays" section. Somewhere to post about :
- place to live (thanks to vladimir I Found a place to live for half the price I found initially by myself, also it was bigger and more convenient I was planning on buying him drinks for that one)
- visa, paper
- medical service
- language course
Basically all the boring stuff where you do not need info that often but where when you need them the input of some long term expat will be welcome.
And yes having some subsection for the the different place in Cambodia could be usefull, the subsection by language are a waist of time IMO.You have other forum specific for German, Japanese, Khmer, French and other nationality.
