Storm warning issued for next week.
The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology said that some areas in the Kingdom would be hit by a storm next week, especially the coastal provinces.
Water Resources Minister Lim Kean Hor said that a high pressure system would have a weak influence on Cambodia and the rest of Southeast Asia, but that a low pressure system from the South China Sea would converge on the country at the same time.
“At the end of November, the 25th storm [of the year] named Tokage will hit the southeastern Philippines,” he said.
“This storm will travel from the South China Sea and continue to the southeastern coast of Vietnam and will cause rain in some provinces in Cambodia from November 29 until December 1.”
Mr. Kean Hor added that the storm would affect Phnom Penh and the provinces of Kampong Chhnang, Kandal, Kampong Speu, Takeo, Svay Rieng, Prey Veng, Kampong Cham and Tbong Khmum, as well as the four coastal provinces, Kampot, Kep, Preah Sihanouk and Koh Kong.

Five days on, checking the Ministry weather forecast and "storm warning". Forecasts for Sihanoukville, Kampot and Phnom Penh show no or little rain, but some strong wind gusts.
Sihanoukville
Kampot
Phnom Penh
Looks like the meteorology officials erred on the side of caution. Even in the most developed countries, weather forecasts are known to be totally wrong, fairly often.
However, there are strong winds across the southern part of Cambodia today, so you might want to take care if you are working on a roof, and the seas will be choppy if you are taking a boat.

May have been referring to a '' political storm '' ?
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

I've not checked out the sea but it's been a bit breezy here in shv the last couple of days. Just enough to flap the door about a bit. It's great, moves the heat around.
