Post by Aravind Sundaram »

Hey There,

Medical Tourism is booming. Destinations like India and Thailand are flocked up with patients from countries like Cambodia. But doesn't Cambodia have a hospital? They do, but many would lack the use of cutting edge technology and quality treatment. Hence medical tourism facilitator's like us (Anavara) assist people to travel abroad to get their critical treatments done. If you're looking for medical treatments abroad, contact Anavara Limited.

^^ +1.

seriously, why not just do that.

common sense it would seem, but I forget, sometimes it's not so 'common'.

well said.

cheers

If you have insurance, why not just go to Bumrungrad Hospital in a Thailand?

But a lot of people don't have insurance and Bumrungrad is very expensive.
Perhaps the OP can recommend hospitals with specialist departments that are a fraction of the price and with a good reputation for those who can't afford just to simply go to Bumrungrad.

Or just walk to Sunrise Japanese Hospital, it's just around the corner from me on Bay Street, Chroy Changvar. I have not checked this out yet as I always go to Central Hospital on 154 st.http://www.central-hospital.com/

The first Japanese private hospital had its grand opening on the 31st October 2016 in Chroy Changvar, Phnom Penh. http://www.sunrise-hs.com/index.php/cli ... epartments

The hospital provides a 52-bed health service with more than 100 members of staff, of which 30 percent are Japanese.
Shigemi Kitahara, the founder and adviser to Sunrise Japan Hospital, said, “Our goal is the development of high quality and sustainable medical services in Cambodia.“The opening of Sunrise Japan Hospital is the starting point of this long journey,” he added.

According to Kitahara, the hospital will offer emergency medical treatment for brain and heart disorders, injuries from traffic accidents and medical checkups, and will continue working toward the establishment of general hospital services, including obstetrics, pediatrics and rehabilitation and their associated information technology and education systems. http://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2016/0 ... I went to the Bangkok Hospital in Pattaya for a arthroscopic shoulder surgery last year and they treated me like a king. The operating room looked like out of the future. I could have gone to the Bumrungrad in Bangkok, but I didn't want to hang around Bangkok for the 10 day later follow up. I've been staying at the Sabai Lodge on Soi two in Pattaya for around 25 years (4 swimming pools, one block from Big C mall and a block from the beach) and really like the place and location. Also the insurance guy at the Bangkok Hospital in Pattaya worked day and night to get my insurance from America lined up. (cute nurse's also.) I really recommend the Bangkok Hospital. BTW/The Bumrungrad's insurance people were not on top of it like the guy at the Bangkok Hospital.
