Three Cambodian Women Saved From Working In Karaoke Parlor in Singapore

The spokesman of ministry of foreign affairs and international cooperation said, the Cambodia embassy in Singapore had saved and facilitated to bring back three Cambodian women who had been cheated by their friend and lured them to work in a Karaoke Parlor in Singapore. The three Cambodian women arrived in Singapore on 14 October hoping to get a job as ice server in a club as promised by their friend. However, once they arrived in Singapore, they were offered job as KTV girl instead. The three refused to do the job and asked the owner to send them back to Cambodia which they were asked to compensate 1500 dollars for the flight ticket and accommodation in order to get their passports back. The three women later approached the Cambodia embassy in Singapore that managed to bring back their passports and also made the owner to pay for the flight tickets to send the three Cambodian women back to Cambodia.
