I saw this article in my newsfeed this morning. I never knew how this worked. A broken system will create this behavior. Sad.

Whoah! Simmer down there tiger. Sorry for the sarcasm. Believe it or not I do have compassion for folks like this. It just goes to show that even the people who are not in government help feed this ugly cycle of corruption. I'll do my part and not buy an RCAF plate.

Making fake license plates is not a job, it's a criminal offence. Obviously the guy that makes the plates understands this:

It's funny that the plates themselves are illegal:

So we have a guy making "illegal plates" illegally, and the cops turning a blind eye to it because it would hold up traffic. Seems like everyone is happy.

I'm sure his skills could be used for something different to support his family. The illegal route just happens to be the most lucrative.

I want a set of those... not to use, just to keep. Then if shit ever actually get's "really" bad here (imagine what the country would turn into in the following days/weeks if someone assassinated HE for example) they might come in handy (depending on who's in charge of the bad) for making a run for the border.

Doesn't having an RCAF plate automatically give you a discount on fuel? I think it has to be on a registered "active" vehicle and probably only from a gov fuel depot but if its true then this is a good deal for friendly local.

OK, I think I overreacted, apologies, but my sentiments remain the same.

You're sure about his skills? Well obviously you've researched this thoroughly.

What marketable 'skills' does he have? Education? This is not some multi-faceted guy we're talking about here, this is probably a motodop-level guy.

There has been rapid urbanisation here, and there are simply not enough jobs even for university students, let alone guys ta this level. They choose the path that pays the best that they feel comfortable in.

A young woman in a similar situation might very well turn to the sex trade. Yes, it's sad, but what other options exist?

And when the topdogs are flagrantly breaking the law, do you honestly expect the guys at the bottom to set an example?

A little less judgement and a little more understanding.

I'm certain if you offer him a legal job at the same rate he'd probably take it.
