I am shocked to learn that expats die from something other than heart attacks

"Many diseases fall under the category of “silent killers”. These diseases disguise their warning signs.SinnSisamouth wrote:as apposed to a non silent killer?
They are characterized by subtle symptoms that often go undetected or unnoticed. If too much time passes without treating the disease, it may cause serious complications or sometimes death."
"Untreated hypertension increases the risk of heart disease and stroke. These are the first and third commonest causes of death in the USA. Hypertension can also damage the kidneys and increase the risk of blindness and dementia. That is why hypertension is referred to as a "silent killer."
A ruptured aneurysm releases blood into the spaces around the brain, called a subarachnoid hemorrhage, a life-threatening type of stroke.""
I presume he was in hospital when it occurred and would be being monitored at the time, and so the cause of death would be fairly certain, obviating the need for autopsy.SinnSisamouth wrote:how do they know what it was I thought autopsy are non existant in shv?
Symptoms of a ruptured aneurysm include:
sudden, severe headache, “the worst headache of my life”
neck stiffness
blurry or double vision
sensitivity to light
drooping eyelid
trouble speaking or a change in awareness and mental state
trouble walking or dizziness
nausea or vomiting
seizure (convulsion)
loss of consciousness

Further confirmation could be with CT or MRI scan, (possibly not available in Sihanoukville) and also a lumbar puncture (spinal tap)

I would like to die silently. (And aged 80 would be fine too.) RIP.
