Bad Chicken Plucked From Border
Preah Sihanouk police yesterday confiscated almost 400 kilograms of tainted chicken products at the Thai-Cambodia border as it was about to be delivered to a meatball vender in Lek Pi commune.
Preah Sihanouk provincial police chief Choun Narin said the haul, made up of chicken wings, chicken knees, chicken gizzards, meatballs and hotdogs, had previously been discarded but was sprayed with a chemical substance to make it appear fresh.
“The produce had been thrown away as it came from grilled chicken wings and grilled chicken knees that had already been eaten. It was kept for a very long time but it still looked fresh. It would affect the health of anyone who ate it,” Mr. Narin said.
Sun Sophat, the provincial deputy police commissioner in charge of economic crimes, said that 332 kilograms of chicken wings and knees were confiscated along with 10 kilograms of chicken gizzard and 40 kilograms of hotdogs.
Police have since instructed the meatball vendor, 31-year-old Cheng Sunhy, to stop importing such products from Thailand...

MAKE THE PUNISHMENT FIT THE CRIME
Imprison this rogue. Put his wares in the fridge/freezer and then defrost and cook a little every day.
Feed him on it until he's finished the lot or dies from food poisoning, whichever is the sooner.
