Installing a hot water shower?
Re: Installing a hot water shower?
The only thing that may or may not be complicated is that there are no nearby outlets. I think I need to hire an electrician to have a look.

Don't forget to put a GFI on the powerline too.

They do sell electric wires in long lengths you know, so proximity shouldn't really matter...
Just make sure he doesn't gouge you on the cost of materials.

I think I've already made clear that I have no idea what I'm talking about when it comes to electricity or home improvement, but I have visions of wires strung across the room and hanging loose in the bathroom...this is the sort of thing that keeps me up at night.Bitte_Kein_Lexus wrote:They do sell electric wires in long lengths you know, so proximity shouldn't really matter...

giblet, you need a barang/well-known recommended Khmer to check it out, otherwise you will get ripped off.
I suggest you ask ken svay, he will definitely know someone. Or Murray.

Thats why I suggested she contact Jess to get info on the Vietnamese electrician used by her and Padder. Ken Svay would be a good bet though.vladimir wrote:giblet, you need a barang/well-known recommended Khmer to check it out, otherwise you will get ripped off.

On the case. Going to get a proper electrician over to assess the situation. Maybe he can figure out how to put in a few more outlets while he's at it.
