Speaking at a meeting with 405 students who scored an A grade in last month’s exam and school chiefs at the Peace Palace yesterday, the premier said all students now had to take the exam if they wanted to be teachers.
Last year, a Ministry of Education directive gave students who received an A, B or C grade in the high school exam an automatic pass on the teacher entrance exam, except for candidates choosing certain specialized subjects.

Assuming that there are (totally fair) re-sits for those who got disappointing grades, the
rule seems fair.
Unless there's been a recent change at the top, the current Minister of Education is a stickler for
absolute fairness.
How this works in practice is another matter.
