4 British tourists busted for passing fake £notes.
Four young British men came to Thailand believing they could live it up by passing fake £20 banknotes to exchange booths.
They had been changing between £100 and £200 at a time, taking it in turns to tour the booths on Koh Pangan.
However, one exchange operator realised what was going on and called the police. The four were easily traceable from clear CCTV images.
The cops tracked the gang to rented rooms in the Ban Tai part of the island. Thomas and Luke Anthony and Steven Belfry, all twenty-three years old and twenty-one-year old Adam Lewis were arrested in possession of ninety-six fake £20 notes, 86,000 baht and a bag of ganja weighing 2.1 grams.
The four have admitted fraud and said they brought the fake money with them from England.
They had been looking for a place to have a good time and said they stayed in Bangkok, Phi Phi Island and Kao Tao before arriving at Pangan for the Full Moon Party.
They had been passing off fake notes all along the way...

Natural selection still operational. Now they get to experience the vaunted Thai prison system and check that off their collective bucket list..
