Re: Noise restriction law in Phnom Penh
https://cambodiaexpatsonline.com/topic6363.html says
"Section 2
Disturbance Noise
Article 703: Creating Sound or Noise
An act to create sound or noise which disturbs the quietness of other people is
punishable by a fine from 1,000 (one thousand) Riels to 10,000 (ten thousand) Riels."
If you are mates with the district governor they will enforce it .. note the case of the woman who lives above Mr Butterfly on 136.

Good luck with that Evee. Let us know how you got on. I sympathize, but you're in a city, in a night-life area.
I agree with Lex - finding a quieter place to live will be easier than trying to close down the night-life where you are at present.

Apparently you can turn a microwave oven into an EMP gun, and knock out their equipment from a distance.
There are a couple of instruction videos on youtube. Looks like good fun...!!

Out of curiosity does anyone know about any construction laws here, as in do they have laws stating what time of the day they have to start/finish, no construction on Sunday etc?
Thanks
