Boastful Blogger Banging His Way Across Asia

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

Like it or not, there's a market for this sort of stuff - "A Bachelor's Guide to Japan" by one Boye de Menthe (pseud.) has gone through
reprint after reprint over the years and it's even more banal than "Fifty Shades of Grey."

A colleague in Dhahran - this was many decades ago now - had a "Gay Guide to Europe" with handy hints for cruising places and
promising pickup spots; these included Phoenix Park in Dublin and - quite terrifyingly - Red Square in Moscow.

The man is 100% real and he has yet to cross the Styx, although he probably already has his ticket to give to Charon.

The book referred to is not listed in the wikipedia entry, possibly overlooked. Possibly disowned.

One wishes Bond every success. May he be as prolific a writer as his far older fellow-countryman.
