One can hardly call the hard-fought battle over the Equal Rights Amendment in the
U.S.A. "mundane crap"

Well within living memory, all literate Americans knew her name and were familiar with most of her ideas

While I am familiar with her ideas and have probably read her name numerous time, I never gave her much thought. She had an interesting life and was right in opposing the so called "Equal Rights Amendment." She is my hero for opposing the useless United Nations which 22% of or hundreds of millions of dollars is paid by US tax payers. Move the UN to Africa where it belongs.

RIP an American Hero.
