Turn key 40 seat restaurant in (TTP1) looking for working partner

If you are looking for a business to buy in Cambodia, you've come to the right place! This is a section where owners can post their businesses for sale and where others in the community can ask questions about starting a business here. Foreigners can own 100% of a business here in Cambodia, and it's a pretty simple process to buy or sell, whether it's a bar, restaurant, hotel, or anything else. Have questions about what paperwork is needed for your company? Ask away. Curious if the expat bar on Street 136 selling for $100,000 is a good deal? Start a discussion on CEO and we'll let you know what we think.

Turn key 40 seat restaurant in (TTP1) looking for working partner

Post by James121 »

This has got to be one of the best opportunities you could ever ask for!
We have a very special and unique restaurant. It’s turn-key ready and strategically located in Toul Tom Poung 1, Phnom Penh. It has everything to begin business immediately.
The dining room is over 120 sq. meters with 10 tables - 40 seats, plus a bar with 7 bar stools. We plan to be open for lunch and dinner 7 days per week (11:00 - 9:00 daily).
We are looking for a full-time chef (or even better a working couple - both with restaurant experience) who want to be our partner(s) and receive 40% of all profits generated. He or they should be Khmer, have good work references and be able to speak some English.
If you are right for this incredible opportunity you will be working with an American who will also be working full-time on this project until it is profitable.
We will focus on Western food, primarily, Mexican, American and Italian with some local dishes. Price range for lunch and dinner will range from $3.50 to $8.50 with pizzas ranging from $6.50 - $12.00.
We want to be up and running by September 15 or even sooner.
To take advantage of this great opportunity, our new partner(s) will need to invest $800 at the first month, $700 for the second month, $600 for the third month and then just $500/month by the 4th month and each month after. (This will cover our future partner’s share of rent, utilities and maintenance expenses for this restaurant).
We expect to be profitable by the second or third month.
If you have the necessary requirements listed above and you are a hard working worker with a positive attitude, this could the opportunity for you.
Earn your true value and take charge of your life!

40% of $0 = $0

As most are not profitable (for at least 6 months) when starting out at low season or ever.

If the owner puts money back into business then no profit either.

Also the owner can draw a salary as a cost of doing business which also cuts the profits too.

Out of curiosity, why do they need to be Khmer, especially if most of the food looks to be Western?

And welcome to the forum.
