For all the hotel/guest house owners:

URGENT ALERT

Please note that the following gentleman has skipped out on two hotels in Phnom Penh. He is using the line that his friend that is coming will provide the credit card. He has a local lady with him.

Booking was last minute through booking.com – he has done this to two hotels. He was monitored while waiting for the credit card to be delivered and paid cash, but cleaned out the mini bar and took the hair dryer (besides walking out on the cost of the room).

If he has checked into your hotel, can you kindly contact me urgently! He was last seen in the vicinity of Street 51 and Street 208 dropped off by a remorque (tuk tuk).

I would remind all of you to ensure that you take an electronic deposit in all cases even if they wish to change the account/credit card and/or hold the person’s passport.
