I'll second that. Quail are always on demand and bought by Cambodians. I wonder what the demand is like for them in Vietnam and Thailand.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.

Rural Peruvians still rear guinea pigs on household scraps, lots of the 3rd-world poor keep chickens, ducks and rabbits in cages on balconies, on
roofs, in odd corners of a yard.
NOTE: Very little meat on quails.

It's not about how much meat, , It's all about how much money on the quail.. Not much meat in a oyster is there.mammothboy2 wrote: Rural Peruvians still rear guinea pigs on household scraps, lots of the 3rd-world poor keep chickens, ducks and rabbits in cages on balconies, on

Re: fast breeding animal for meat
they import them here from vn- eggs too. huge market.
the tiny ones you see are wild ones.
3kg of feed for 1 kg chicken eggs, 2 kg feed for 1 kg quail eggs. slightly more expensive feed than chicken feed.
they start laying around 45 days. the males for meat at that point.
i have grown them successfully.
you need an incubator.
will happily tell you all about it in sv next weekend if you are around
