Fight Club Thailand - illegal street fights gain popularity.(VIDEO)

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

Fight Club Thailand - illegal street fights gain popularity.(VIDEO)

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

THAILAND, home of ‘Muay Thai’ fighting, is now gaining Internet fame for unsanctioned street fights apparently being held in its capital city of Bangkok.

Similar to the “organized” street fights of other countries, those in Bangkok involve amateur fighters pitted against each other in close one-to-one combat, exchanging blows in the presence of referees and dozens of spectators.

Videos of these fights have been posted online by its organizers on the Fight Club Thailand YouTube channel, earning the attention of local Thai enforcers.

Seriously.

Bare knuckle and prison style fighting is based on luck as well as skill.

Just how safe is a skilled boxer from such impacts, especially a lucky strike?

Surely the best tactic is to protect without getting too many arm blows, and look for lucky strikes?

based on luck? so would you fancy your chances?

no one is safe from an impact to the head, you dont play boxing, you dont play fighting, its dangerous, fists are lethal weapons, you knock someone out in a street fight its scary, trust me, when they go down, motionless on the floor, frothing at the mouth, did they bang their head, its not a game

how do you plan to protect yourself in a street fight?

9/10 a street fight is won on aggression, confidence, punches in bunches, the other 1/10 is the other person who manages to get a lucky strike whilst covered up
