Boiler Room Operation in Sihanoukville

Post by rubberbaron »

Has anyone heard of a boilerroom operation based at the BS Holiday Villa? It is called Market Solution and they seem to offer investments of a minimum of $5,000 to people in OZ/NZ. Also, more foreigners than Khmer work there, obviously because of the language. Any such operation can't be legit, right? I know that large companies operate call centers in India and places like this, but who would choose Cambodia if not for its lack of oversight.

Sounds like a very appropriate name to have a boiler room. :smileinbox:

Yep. know someone who works there, I was told somewhere in Otres, but could be BS Holiday Villas.. Not great pay but better than English teaching.

They are just the openers, who generate the leads for the closers who work elsewhere from what I gather. (BS from the BS villas it may be)

I also know someone looking for Finnish speakers to telemarket into Finland.

The Marina near me that is owned by a "Japanese Fish Club", now has a Chinese backed Casino. Lots of Chinese working there doing the internet gambling thing and maybe more. A bunch of the Chinese (I've heard over 60 of them) live near me and walk by everyday talking (yelling) to each other. All seem to be quite young.
