Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. A Destitute Indian Man Walked with Head Injuries and Asked People For Food

Rathanakiri: An Indian man with mentality-ill was seen walking with injuries all over his body in front of people houses in Banlong city and asked people to seek for intervention from Indian embassy for treatment and repatriation home.

The unidentified Indian man was wandering in Banlong city and asking people for foods.. He was spotted around 10:00 am on 11 August 2016 by the news reporter. Since he couldn't speak much khmer. He only said that all his injuries resulted from motorbike accident about 4 months ago and he was kicked out of the house by a friend. He didn't tell his name and age and where he had lived before.

People in Banlong city requested the local authority to send the Indian man to the hospital for treatment and send him back to his hometown. People believed that he was a tourist coming to visit Cambodia and at one point he became destitute, so the local authority shouldn't allow him to be like this as other foreigner might have a go on our local authority's competency. People also requested Koh Santepheap Daily to inform his embassy to help him.
