Haven't zapped myself yet, but I hate the way the power points spark when you plug stuff in.

If I ever "buy" a place and renovate I'm putting an earth wire in and installing earthed international power points everywhere.

I really should see how that is done. Maybe as simple as driving a copper rod to earth & wire to elec. box.

I have no idea what I'm talking about. Bulbs & off on switches. I'm good.

This is exactly what I'm going to do in the province after I return to Cambo. Had a electrical engineer friend of mine show me where and how deep. But still pretty standard.
