I don't know the original source, but it's on a couple of Khmer news sites. http://www.arey-news.com/article/146648LTO wrote:Is there a link to the original article this was copied from?

The restaurant is named as ភោជនីយដ្ឋាន ដើមជ្រៃ
Google translates ដើមជ្រៃ as Oak.
Tovnah dictionary translates ជ្រៃ as a kind of fig.
Is there an Oak Restaurant in Kampot.

A banyan tree is a kind of fig, and the Banyan Tree is also a guesthouse on the Tek Chhou in Kampot, with a deck not unlike the one pictured in the photo in the OP.Username Taken wrote:I don't know the original source, but it's on a couple of Khmer news sites. http://www.arey-news.com/article/146648LTO wrote:Is there a link to the original article this was copied from?

I reckon you are probably right. Here's a couple of pics from Tripadvisor of The Banyan Tree Kampot - notice the black, cube chairs.LTO wrote:A banyan tree is a kind of fig, and the Banyan Tree is also a guesthouse on the Tek Chhou in Kampot, with a deck not unlike the one pictured in the photo in the OP.

NGO hipster girls duking it out on the dance floor with local women in the heart of Cambodia's upriver haven for druggies. I used to go to Martini's for this kind of stuff. Stay classy Kampot!

Having read her story, I admire her though i don't have much truck with SJW types.
she is ok in my book, and i will buy her a drink.
probably she will not hit me.
