Man run over by train in Kampot.

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

Another fatal train accident, probably someone sleeping on the tracks.(As you do. Remind me why again, someone please ?)

An unidentified man was found dead with his wrist and leg badly damaged after being run over by a night train in the early hours yesterday in Kampot province’s O’Toch village, according to local police.

A Kampot town police officer who requested anonymity said police had yet to determine why the man was on the tracks when the train came through.

“We don’t know why or what he was doing when the train ran over him because it was at night and we don’t know what or who the train was carrying because it didn’t stop,” he said.

“We found the body at about 6am. His leg and wrist were badly damaged and he was already deceased when we found him,” the officer added.

We don't know who or what the train was carrying? There are like two trains per day. How about just dropping by the train station and asking?
