Spanish Couple Got their Bag Snatched In Front Of Proyouvong Pagoda

Phnom Penh: According to Koh Santepheap Daily News, a Spanish couple got their bag snatched by three people while the couple was walking along Norodom Blvd located in Tonle Basac commune, Chamkarmon district. It happened around 11:22 pm on 21 October 2015. They ran into the pagoda after they managed to snatch the bag from victim.

Police was at the scene after the incident happened and was trying to arrest those snatchers, but they couldn’t as those snatchers already escaped the scene. Police couldn’t confirm the name of the couple and also the lost property as this couple declined to file a complaint. Moreover, they speak only Spanish, so it is hard for the police to get more information about the case. They only said, “No Problems” and left.
