International law has clearly established that proximity is not a determining factor.giblet wrote:So their argument is that it should belong to Cambodia because it's directly off the shore of Cambodia? I sort of get that argument (legalities notwithstanding). Maybe it should be Cambodia's in theory, but it's not and it won't be.

I hear you, bro. But from a purely emotional perspective, I think I understand why they feel like proximity should be a determining factor. But it's not.JBTrain wrote:International law has clearly established that proximity is not a determining factor.giblet wrote:So their argument is that it should belong to Cambodia because it's directly off the shore of Cambodia? Re: Cambodia's Impossible Dream: Koh Tral
FYI I've stopped posting responses on Khmerization having determined that nobody there has the slightest interest in the truth. The last straw was Khmerization's amending his OP to include a fuzzy copy of the 1820 Crawfurd map which he insists says Koh Dral. I provided him a 13MB file where it's crystal clear that it says Koh-dud which Crawfurd indicated is what the Thais called it at that time. (Crawfurd was aware of the Khmer name but didn't deem it important enough to put on his map). Khmerization refused to acknowledge his error and has kept that map up. It's moronic pure and simple and I've wasted enough time.

They say that insanity is repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results. You got a pass on your first few comments, but after that...
I'm really interested in the history of the other islands, too. Can you make one of them your next research project?

You're right, nobody to blame but me.giblet wrote:They say that insanity is repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results. You got a pass on your first few comments, but after that...

Once Vietnam grants me asylum I'd consider it.

They kidnapped 513 Vietnamese nationals to Koh Tang in 1975. You could investigate that if you insist on continuing your pro-Viet agenda.

Don't you realize you're just another of thousands of Vietnamese infiltrators who post stuff like this to make people believe Vietnamese lies?! How much are they paying you?
