Right, when you get a place with a fridge, then go to the market and buy a gas ring for about $6. Then you're sorted for coffee and pot noodles etc. You can also pick up a pot, mug, cutlery etc at the market.It's usually cheaper than the supermarkets.
I second Jamie's suggestion to eat at Titanic restaurant - should be walking distance from where you are and there are plenty of good dishes less than $3. And it's really good.(The location should be mentioned on the cheap food in Sihanoukville thread if you don't know it.) Otherwise, for eating on a budget there's the nightmarket of course, and there are some el-cheapo places to eat in front of Utopia - vege curries indian-style for $1.50 (as a change from khmer-style).
With a fridge and a gas ring you should save a couple of bucks a day at least on food and drink.

I've eaten in Titanic and that Cordon Bleu is rubbish. The steamed Red Snapper was not too bad, if you're willing to wait an hour. Not being one to pooh-pooh Monkey Mark but if you are allergic to meat tenderiser then avoid the steaks.

I've been through the kitchen and never seen any meat tenderizer or tasted it. What do you base this on, gossup or fact?

Read and learn. Most meat tenderizer is from Papaya or Pineapple. I've got bottles of McCormicks and MasterFoods meat tenderizer setting in front of me. They have: salt, onion, sugar, garlic, yeast, paprika, and Bromelain(found in Pineapple) So which of these cause allergic reactions? Please, facts, not BS.

You should be more worried by all the Cambodian and Chinese restaurants that use MSG. My sister (a nurse) is allergic to MSG and can go into anaphylactic shock and need a shot of epinephrine after ingesting it.
