Speeding tuktuk kills tourist on pedestrian crossing.

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

Speeding tuktuk kills tourist on pedestrian crossing.

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

Those pedestrian crossings are dangerous because they give tourists the weird idea that drivers will stop for them. RIP.

Tourist Using Pedestrian Crossing Killed By Speeding Hua Hin Tuk Tuk
A 48-year-old man holidaying in the resort town of Hua Hin was killed by a speeding tuk tuk on Sunday afternoon, according to the DailyNews.

Mr Cody, a Kazakhstan national, had been shopping at the Market Village mall with his wife who told police the couple stepped on to the road at a pedestrian crossing when a tuk tuk hit her husband at speed sending him crashing to the ground, hitting his head hard on the tarmac.
