Yellow Bajaj Meter tuktuks
Notice how these Bajaj RE are taking over from the Tuktuk?
They have meters and the price is 1200 R /km for the passenger. They run on LPG.
Because the meters make the driver accountable, fleet ownership can develop.
Add an app and you are in business.
I think these will take over very quickly.

Yeah these are perfect for Phnom Penh, the open design allows for passengers not to feel enclosed like they do in a small cab, I noticed the gf disliked using cabs in Bangkok for that reason. The LPG is awesome, this city needs it, this is where Thailand has been better off having all large trucks run on it.

In Goa now they all have doors for added safety by law. Meter tricks will make or break them. I don't hold out much hope. It won't change the fact that they will still think they are motorbikes though. They will still block the moto and bicycle lanes.
