A Modest Proposal – 1

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Not directed at you. Directed at all the NGO's that think men are I effected by life's issues. By only siding with women then perpetuates the man's problems.

In this case I understand why this particular organization is female focused but personally prefer NGOs that have an arm directed at men and an arm directed at women. For example I know of an organization that has dormitories, one for men and one for women, and another organization that works with sex abuse victims that has a workshop for men and another for women.

Ok so why did you only mention the ngo that helps the "preferred" gender?

Because that's the one Mrs Stroppy happened to hear about that is offering shower facilities, a specific issue that the OP raised?

I mentioned an association that is offering bathing facilities to cyclo drivers, because it is an association for cyclo drivers. Does it mean it is misogynistic because most cyclo drivers are arguably men?

You need to read and understand what you read before jumping to moronic conclusions.

I would actually like to run a soup kitchen here but I haven't quite wrapped my head around some of the bigger issues and logistics. I'm also aware that I've not been in PP for very long.
