The inbreeding up there makes them crazy good at a lot of things, just be careful, some of them are real nutters.
Like I mean, be careful about being alone in the same room with one for too long.

Same here, but I always said I was a North Poler. I lived next door to Santa clause, and we were great mates.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.

Re: Kampot - costs of living
if ur in the same room with one
ur not alone
When i say, "when i used to travel" that took in the 70's-early 90's mostly,
MY first flight to Europe was 1970 on Icelandic air ( they were the first true low cost airlines connecting the states to Europe) NY- Reykjavik-Luxembourg $140 R/t on a prop plane, for an extra $45 we got to stay for 2 nights with accommodations an food paid for.

During those years, Loftleiðir were often referred to, even by the company's own staff, as "the Hippie Airline" or even "the Hippie Express".[21][22] Many young Americans travelled to Europe after graduation, to experience the "old-world culture" and they were more concerned with getting there cheaply than comfortably or even exactly on time. Loftleiðir were not famous for speed or punctuality, but flying with the company became a sort of rite of passage for those young "hippies", one of whom was Bill Clinton, later US President.
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Re: Kampot - costs of living
In a month or so, a newbie is going to turn up on the forum asking about "should I move to Kampot" or something, so someone will suggest they read this thread, and then they will get some good advice about wankers, Icelanders and primitive aircraft.

Kampot itself has increasingly become the last resort for those too unbalanced for Sihanoukville.
Lots of mumblers and the occasional shouter.
