A man decided to burn his house after his wife was not willing to sleep with him
Kampot: A wooden house, located in Krosang Krom village, Eastern Bonteay Meas commune, Bonteay Meas district, Kampot province was completely burned on June 14, 2016 midnight. For this case, it was assumed by residents nearby that it caused from an anger of a man whose wife was not willing to sleep with him.
Mr Prom Veasna, a Bonteay Meas district police chief told ANN that, the case above was not from a big problem, but a simple argument between a couple.
Mr Keo Chan, a Bontey Meas commune chief told that,the house owner's name is Ney Ngorl whose wife name is Ngen Truk. The husband, Ney Ngorl had not been often at home and when he came home on that night, there was an argument occurred in which it was assumed that his wife was not willing to sleep with him and then the man decided to burn the house, he continued.
The couple has claimed to divorce in which the authority has been currently working on that. However, this case made other people nearby get fear since they were afraid that the flame would spread to their houses.
