This is one guy I'd place at the top of my list: Guys I'd like to meet

There was always a spiritual element to his music: those of you who don't see it should sue lobotomy lawyers.

An incredible musician and singer/poet

Not to mention a serious audiophile. You still hear Tea for the Tillerman as demo material in the finer audio salons.

Definitely a major talent and a led a fascinating life, before the final conversion anyway. But he did voice support for the fatwa to kill an author for a book. How do you feel about that, Vlad? "Hi Cat, I don't agree with your philosophy on killing writers for their ideas, but I really loved Peace Train !"

Wildebeest are known to be crazy.

I obviously don't agree with his fundamentalist side, but if I had to stop listening to music because the writers were nuts, there would be very little to listen to.
