Girl Who Could Possibly Pass as a Srey Saat if You're Drunk or Blind Has Moto Stolen
Phnom Penh: A motorcycle was stolen from a cutish Cambodian girl while she was having an interview at 5:30 pm on May 30, 2016 at TELA petrol station along Ok Nhamong Rithy street, located in Bayab village, Phnom Penh Tmey commune, Sen Sok district, Phnom Penh.
The victim's name is Teav Ravy, 20 from Kratei but, she lives at Chres village, Phnom Penh Tmey commune, Sen Sok district, Phnom penh. The motorbike which was stolen was not hers, but belonged to a kind neighbor who let her borrow it for the day.
The motorcycle, black Honda Wave, 100c, number plate Siam Reap 1R-1476 belonged to Lerm Leak whose address is Kok Trabek village, Kok Dong commune, Ongjum district, Siam Reap province.
Before the incident, she was asked to pick up her neighbor's child from school. She decided she'd rush and go pick up the kid and then drop them off before the job interview.
She was in a hurry, and luckily made it to the job interview, parking the moto at the TELA petrol station. The interview lasted 20 minutes, and when she finished and came out, the motorbike was gone. She was shocked it was missing. She was shocked because the moto didn't even belong to her. She was shocked that it happened with a security guard right there. She was even more shocked that he reported seeing a man drive off on it. And while she was shocked that this shockingly shocking event caused her such shock, she was also thankful as fuck that for once in her entire life something that ended up in the Khmer press didn't "cause surprise," which is truly shocking in itself.
She decided to go to police station to file a report but the police refused to help her, claiming that they were busy and told her to come back tomorrow. Even if she had promised to write a "thank you" note to the police for their amazing help like all the little hipster wannabe foreign backpackers do these days and let them plaster it all over social media so that they can give the impression they're not as worthless as they are, they probably still wouldn't have helped her. She then went back home feeling depressed, on a motodop, which probably made her feel even more depressed.
