Drunk Frenchman and a Tuk-Tuk Driver Have Some Road Rage in Siem Reap

Breaking news from Cambodia can be found here. CEO often finds Khmer news and translates it into English for our readers if it is interesting to expats, locals, Cambodians living abroad and anyone who wants to stay informed of the latest local and international news stories about Cambodia and our neighbors in South East Asia. There are many sources for Khmer news articles and they can all be found here in one place. Most of the media comes out of Phnom Penh, Siem Reap or Sihanoukville, but we cover national Cambodian news from all provinces.

The French angry monkey picture first posted is almost better than a video. Amazing.

Haha, I looked and looked. Pisses me off because we know there's video footage out there somewhere. No way a Barang and a Tuk-Tuk driver got in a scuffle and nobody took a video.
you have 24 hours! dont disappoint me again! :whip:
Damn. I have a video to post about a suicidal foreigner. Does that count? Image

Or Siem Reap for that matter. That particular stretch of road where the accident happened is particularly bad. I have had a couple of near misses there just trying to cross the road, because of the the insane Cambodian drivers speeding and weaving trough traffic.

Two days ago some barang comes flying by me on a Step, obviously looking to race me,
he goes on like a mad man, whoa, great driver, probably much better than me,

I stay in the pack as usual, it's the easiest way to go.

I've gotten used to PP traffic, and I find most of the locals to be driving safely, and not speeding..

the youngsters of course pushing each other to go faster, that is awful,
and a reason to be driving daytime between rushhour as much as possible here.
I usually go like I did in LA, 10-11 in the morning and 1-4pm in the afternoon.

as the sun goes down, safety on the streets goes as well, but in my time here, no major probs..

and seldom going past the 50km/h mark on my crusty worthless piece of shit Suzuki..
