I agree wholeheartedly. I still detest the missionaries though.

Made me think of the commandments and what a poor effort they were from a supposed all knowing entity. I think it fair to say almost anyone in the world could come up with a better list of "thou shalts" and "thou shalt nots" in a few minutes.
How about "protecti chidren and bring to them no harm"? Nope, an almighty knowing god thought children should be stoned to death for not obeying their parents. Deuteronomy 21:18-21

I agree with that about the freshy boys, but I digress.Kung-fu Hillbilly wrote:Made me think of the commandments and what a poor effort they were from a supposed all knowing entity. It was a lost to control the masses and instill a moral code. But as the movie brought out, you think we needed a commandment of "thou shall not kill"? But how many died in religious wars?
It's an oxymoron about not killing but there's always exception to the rules.
I.e. In some Islam moral codes, regionally according to their doctrine. A raped girl must be killed unless her rapist marries her. The only way to maintain "her" and her families honor.

Doesn't The Golden Rule pretty much sum up all society's concerns about how best to live? That one simple sentence covers practically every situation. That's why JC is okay by me.
