I'd be surprised if someone managed to get a bomb on the plane at CDG, given that the French should be on high terrorist alert now. They should be checking things with a fine-toothed comb, dogs, shoes off the works. The Russian one took off at Sharm, where you could basically just stroll up to the planes and stick mines to them. I could certainly see Egypt Air skimping on proper maintenance.

Wasn't it Egypt air that just had the hijacking?

You would think they would have upped security after that for sure.....

Egypt air .

Same as Malaysian airlines .

Once they had one crash just ban them from the air they have already proved them self's incompetent..

They probly give asylum to the failed hijacker.

no point jumping to conclusion now, there is a million moving parts in an airplane, anything cld hv gone wrong and resulted in catastrophic failure

So true. CNN in particular laps this shit up. They will spend hours upon hours speculating on what might have happened.
